Privacy Policy

What data we process

NovoConvert is a free online converter. To run the service we process three categories of data: the files you upload; technical data (IP address, browser type, request time) needed for security and diagnostics; and anonymised usage statistics.

We do not require registration and never ask for your name, phone number or payment details.

Files and conversion results

A file is uploaded to the server, processed, and deleted automatically after conversion and download. We do not inspect file contents, publish them or share them with third parties.

Uploaded files are never used to train models, and we do not build public datasets from them.

Cookies and local storage

Your browser's localStorage keeps the selected language and interface state so your settings are not reset. Anonymised statistics are collected by Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica; ad units are served by Google AdSense.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some features will keep working, but statistics and ads will be limited.

Sharing with third parties

Data is shared only to the extent required to run the service: Cloudflare for delivery and protection, Google for analytics and advertising, Yandex for analytics. We do not sell personal data or pass it on for third-party marketing.

Retention

Uploaded files are deleted automatically after processing and download. Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days. Cached AI analysis results are kept for up to 7 days. Aggregated statistics are stored in anonymised form.

Your rights

You may request information about the processing of your data, ask for its deletion and object to processing. Contact us on Telegram or VK — the links are on the Contact page. We reply within a few business days.

Children

The service is not intended for people under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data. If such data reaches us, let us know and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

The current version is always published on this page. For material changes we update the date at the bottom of the document. By continuing to use the service you accept the new version.
